The monthly meeting for the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #172 is the first Wednesday of the month at 8 pm. Next meeting is Wednesday, October 2nd.
Join us for the monthly meeting of the Big Prairie Community Association on Thursday, October 3rd, starting at 7:30 pm, at the Big Prairie Community Hall. A large portion of Alberta’s bear populations overlap areas where people live, work and play. This has resulted in increasing human bear interactions on both public and private lands and creates a concern for public safety and property damage.
Come hear Jay Honeyman, Bear Conflict Specialist with Alberta Environment and Parks, and learn about securing bear attractants to reduce incidents. Also featuring Jeff Bectell, a rancher in the Pincher Creek area and Chair of the Carnivores and Communities program with the Waterton Biosphere Reserve.

Didsbury Museum is holding its Annual Pie Social on Saturday October 5th from 1 pm to 3:30 pm at the museum. Many delicious homemade pies to choose from. It will be hard to select a favorite. Cost is $6 a slice or 2 slices for $10!
Water Valley Community Association Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Supper is set for Sunday, October 6th, starting at 4:30 pm. More information will be forthcoming on this great annual event!

Join us for the monthly Graham Hall Crib Tournament. The first one will be on Saturday, October 12th, with registration at 9:30 a.m., and start at 10 a.m. Cost for Crib is $10 per person and Lunch for $5. The tournaments run the second Saturday of the month from October through April, except December.

Water Valley Community Association Bingo is next on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Water Valley Community Hall. Doors open at 7 p.m. and games start at 7:30 p.m. sharp! Regular games, bonanza and odd/even cards $1 per card. There will be a Loonie pot too!

Join us for the Birds and Bikes Art Show & Sale - Meet the Artists. Meet the artistic duo of Lorene Runham and Theresa Potter on Thursday, October 24th starting at 6:30 pm at the Mountain View Museum Art Gallery.
