Mountain View County and the Village of Cremona approved a join Intermunicipal Development Plan as of October 8, 2019. These agreements are required by the Municipal Government Act (MGA) between adjacent urban and rural municipalities.

Mountain View County Council and the Council for the Municipal District of Bighorn approved an Intermunicipal Collaboration Framework (ICF) and an Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP) on June 12, 2019 and June 11, 2019 respectively.

These agreements are required by the Municipal Government Act (MGA) between adjacent urban and rural municipalities.

Mountain View County held a Public Hearing on the proposed Mountain View County & Rocky View County Intermunicipal Development Plan on Wednesday, November 27, 2019. Council provided second reading to the bylaw. Third reading will be considered at a future Council meeting following Rocky View County's public hearing on the proposed bylaw.
