Intermunicipal Development Plans

Mountain View County and the Town of Carstairs approved a joint Intermunicipal Development Plan as of February 24, 2021. These agreements are required by the Municipal Government Act (MGA) between adjacent urban and rural municipalities.

Mountain View County and the Village of Cremona approved a join Intermunicipal Development Plan as of October 8, 2019. These agreements are required by the Municipal Government Act (MGA) between adjacent urban and rural municipalities.

Mountain View County Council provided first reading to the updated bylaw on June 23, 2021. A public hearing is scheduled for July 14, 2021 at or after 9 a.m.

Mountain View County and the Town of Olds approved a join Intermunicipal Development Plan as of November 25, 2020. These agreements are required by the Municipal Government Act (MGA) between adjacent urban and rural municipalities.

Mountain View County and the Town of Sundre approved a joint Intermunicipal Development Plan as of May 26, 2021. These agreements are required by the Municipal Government Act (MGA) between adjacent urban and rural municipalities.

Mountain View County Council and the Council for the Municipal District of Bighorn approved an Intermunicipal Collaboration Framework (ICF) and an Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP) on June 12, 2019 and June 11, 2019 respectively.

These agreements are required by the Municipal Government Act (MGA) between adjacent urban and rural municipalities.

 

Both Mountain View County and Clearwater County have determined by motions of Council(s) that an Intermunicipal Development Plan between the two municipalities is not required.

Mountain View County Council approved the motion on Wednesday, January 29, 2020.

Both Mountain View County and Red View County have determined by motions of Council(s) that an Intermunicipal Development Plan between the two municipalities is not required.
