Board Openings - Agricultural Service Board (Young Farmer Positions)

Recently approved by Council, the Young Farmer Positions on the Agricultural Service Board seeks to involve young producers (age 35 or under at the time of appointment) in the functions of the ASB, learn about board governance, and provide the perspective of their demographic.

County Committee Appointments

In 2021-2022, Councillors and appointed members from the public at-large will serve on approximately 40 authorities, boards, commissions, and committees on behalf of Mountain View County.

Agricultural Service Board Meetings are typically held on the third Monday of the month.

Appeal Board Meetings will be held through the day:

Next Subdivision and Development Appeal Hearing: Thursday, December 9, 2021 starting at 1 p.m. 

With the current provincial restrictions, the meeting is to be held in Council Chambers for Board Members, members of Administration, and those that require physical participation. For those that are able to participate remotely, the meeting will be simultaneously held online via Zoom to adhere to public distancing quidelines and social gathering restrictions.

If attending in person, there are a few requirements to be aware of:

  • All parties will be required to observe social distancing measures or seated within their personal cohorts;
  • When entering the Council Chamber, participants will be required to wear a mask or face covering until seated;
  • When social distancing is not possible, a mask or face covering is required.
