A Partial Fire Ban has been put in place by Mountain View County effective October 20, 2017.

All current Fire and Fireworks Permits are not longer valid, and no further permits will be issued while the ban remains in place.

Recreational fires in acceptable fire pits and burning barrels are still allowed under a Partial Fire Ban.

Fire bans are determined in consultation with the local Fire Chiefs and with provincial fire officials.

See the Official Notice of Fire Ban. Review our Fire Bylaw for more information, or contact Community Services at 403-335-3311 for more information.
