Mountain View County Council has approved the engineering work for Township Road 320 (the Bergen Road) between Highway 22 and Range Road 44 in the amount of $21,000.

Operational Services reported to Council that the section of road has deteriorated in recent years. It has been determined that a full geotechnical investigation of the road and a surfacing strategy be determined to best course of action to repair the roadway.

Council heard that the road goes over often wet and difficult terrain, and also sees higher than average traffic.

The funding will come from the road and bridge reserve.
