Water Valley / Winchell Lake ASP

In September 2009, the draft Water Valley/Winchell Lake Area Structure Plan was released. We received public comments and held an additional workshop to gain further insight on the draft. The comments received provided invaluable information and were an important step towards incorporating the concerns of stakeholders into the WV/WL ASP process.

In the next few months, the Steering Committee will be launching the next phase of public consultation to encourage additional input by stakeholders and thereby refine the plan. Landowners within the Area Structure Plan are invited to participate in a workshop scheduled for April 10, 2010 at the Water Valley Community Hall. At this workshop the Steering Committee will collaborate with the community to design a land use map for the WV/WL ASP area.

Background
