Carstairs
One of central Alberta's most attractive locations, Carstairs has become home for many residents looking for a short commute to-and-from the cities of Calgary (30 min. one way) and Airdrie (15 min. one way). Carstairs boasts a growing commercial sector, and first-rate educational and recreational facilities for its 2700 residents.
Cremona
With a population of 500, the Village of Cremona is located where the Rockies meet the range. Situated along the Cowboy Trail (Highway 22), residents of Cremona enjoy a spectacular view of the Rocky Mountains; and quick access to the foothills to the West. Cremona is a short drive from the Rockies, and the city of Calgary.
Didsbury
Located along the scenic Rosebud River valley, the Town of Didsbury is home to top notch recreational, educational and medical facilities (including a hospital) and a bustling downtown loaded with niche stores catering to every interest. With a population of 4500, Didsbury is also centrally located roughly half-way between the cities of Calgary and Red Deer.
Olds
With a growing population of over 7600, Olds possesses a booming commercial sector; recently welcoming Wal-Mart, Canadian Tire and numerous national chain stores. Home to Olds College, and the state-of-the-art Community Learning Campus (CLC), Olds boasts a hospital, a vibrant downtown and numerous educational, recreational and cultural facilities.
Sundre
Perched on the banks of the Red Deer River, the Town of Sundre is a thrill seekers paradise. Home to 2600 residents, and a large surrounding rural population, Sundre boatss a growing commercial sector. Boasting excellent schools and recreational facilities, Sundre is also the gateway to numerous back-country skiing, hiking, and rafting opportunities.
