Taxes
In mid to late Spring of each year, Mountain View County residents will receive a combined Assessment / Tax Notice, which indicates the value of property they own, and the amount of taxes to be paid on that property.
Property taxes are due in full by September 15 of the same year. A late penalty charge of two per cent will apply after this date; and if taxes are still outstanding on November 1, a further 10 per cent penalty is applied.
