We believe that crime prevention is everyone's responsibility. The Olds & District Community Policing Committee works in partnership with our RCMP detachment to proactively deal with community concerns and implement strategies to improve crime enforcement, prevention and investigation.

The committee includes representatives from:

  • Alberta Protective Service

  • Chamber Of Commerce

  • Citizens On Patrol (Olds & Bowden)

  • Fish & Wildlife

  • Mountain View County Rural Crime Watch

  • Olds College Students Association Victims Services (Chinook Arch)

  • Olds & District Chamber Of Commerce

Olds and District Policing Advisory Committee - Working For You

OUR GOAL:
The Committee pledges to make our communities safer by:

  • Providing a forum for discussion about policing problems and solutions in the Olds RCMP detachment area.
  • Acting in an advisory capacity to the Olds RCMP regarding specific issues

IMPROVING OUR COMMUNITY:

BE INVOLVED

  • Attend a meeting to meet the people who represent you.
  • Talk to your friends and neighbours about your common issues and voice your concerns at a meeting or send a letter to us c/o 5119 - 49 Ave. T4H 1G2
