Pest & Predator Control
The Province of Alberta Wildlife Act regulates problem wildlife, such as deer, elk, wolf, bear and cougar. Alberta's Sustainable Resource Department, through local fish and wildlife officers, operate various programs that offer prevention, management, control and compensation for land owners in conflict with wildlife. If you suspect predation of livestock by a bear, wolf or cougar contact your local fish and wildlife officer within 72 hours.
