Rosebud Park - Didsbury

Join us on August 4 & 5, 2018 in Didsbury at Rosebud Park for two days of action, including dozens of historical reenactors, sword fights, big cannons, and live combat! Step back in time and visit with costumed (and sometimes armed) performers representing 9th C Scandinavia, 11th Century England, 18th Century Scotland, 18th Century England, 19th Century Canada, and 20th Century Germany. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days

If you like playing Magic The Gathering or would like to try it out we are having a Magic The Gathering afternoon at the Carstairs Public Library. If you do not know how to play there will be people here to help you out. If you have your own decks, you are welcome to bring them, if not the Library has the decks here for you to try. Come meet other gamers and have some fun. The event is open to all ages 9-plus and is a drop-in affair. Hope to see you here! Antimicrobial Usage Workshop

Learn about upcoming changes to antimicrobial usage in livestock. Join us to learn:

  • What the new regulations are
  • Veterinarian's perspective on the regulations
  • What a vet/producer relationship means and how to build one
  • What the practical implications are for procuers

This workshop is on Thursday, August 30th from 6:30 pm to 9 pm at the James River Community Hall.
