County residents are welcome to access the following services and rental equipment from the Operational Services department. Please call the Operational Services Department at 335-3311 for more information.
The County keeps an inventory of culverts, which are sold to ratepayers at cost. The County also salvages and sells used culverts at half price.
Dust Control
The County offers dust control to all ratepayers on the 200 meters fronting properties at a minimal cost using Calcium Chloride, which delivers long term results. Contact Operational Services for further details.
Gravel
Each year, Mountain View County sells gravel to its rate payers at various pits throughout the County. As part of the deal, the County supplies the loader; rate payers must supply a truck. Click here for details on this year's program.
Gravel pits are also rented out to oil companies for rig racking.
