Logos and symbols

The Logo
One of our greatest assets in Mountain View County is our land. The logo shows a stylized view of Mountain View County; set mostly between the Queen Elizabeth Highway and the awe-inspiring mountains. The mountains can be seen as a stylized "M", which adds the first letter of Mountain View to the mark. The lines of the road and the fields in the mark rise toward the right, indicating an attitude of progress and development. The colours of the mark are blue, green and gold, representing the sky, the trees and grass, and a field in harvest. The open and sweeping lines of the mark show a continual movement and change, while the image of the mountain represents a solid and timeless theme, both of which are aspects of the county

"Building Rural Better"
Many people look to urban governments and populations for innovation and progressive change. Many would like to either imitate or replicate the policies of urban municipalities in a rural setting. This isn't the case for Mountain View County. We understand that we are rural municipality, and we are proud of it. We choose to innovate and grow, but in a way that truly makes sense rurally. As we progress and build a better County, we are intentional about doing what makes sense, in Mountain View, not somewhere else. That is a core value, and it is our intention, that we continue to Build Rural Better.

The Crest
Mountain View County's Crest is to be used within the County for specific roles. The crest is limited to use on official Mountain View County documentation that originates from County Council. All other documentation originating from Mountain View County is to use the County signature.
