Waste Management

Mountain View County is a partner in the Mountain View Regional Waste Management Commission, a regulated services commission formed under the Municipal Government Act - 43/2001.

The Commission provides solid waste management services to:
  • Town of Olds
  • Town of Sundre
  • Town of Carstairs
  • Town of Didsbury
  • Village of Cremona
  • Mountain View County

Financial administration for the Commission is handled by Mountain View County. Residents now have the option of paying for this service through the County's electronic bill payment program.

Mountain View County is a partner in the Mountain View Regional Water Services Commission - Regulation 245/92 under the Municipal Government Act. The Commission is authorized to provide water services to its member partners which include the County's urban centres. Each urban centre has its own sewage treatment facility.
