| Handling public funds responsibly and with transparency is the mandate of Mountain View Countys Finance Department. Our team uses state of the art accounting software and technology and the skills of a trained staff to track revenue, expenses and long term investments on behalf of our ratepayers.

The Finance Department also:
- Prepares the Annual Operating and Capital Budget
- Prepares financial statements
- Handles day to day accounting and payroll administration
- Manages Accounts Payable and Receivable (Including tax collection)
- Spearheads technological support for the County
- Drives Key Operational Indicators (KOIs) for Public Works and other County departments
- Provides financial administration for the Mountain View Regional Waste Management Commission and Mountain View Regional Emergency Services
