Fee Schedule
The provinical Municipal Government Act authorizes Council to establish fees by bylaw.
Mountain View County recognizes there is a cost for the provision of various services and infomration, and that the user should pay a portion or all of these costs.
On occassion, a circumstance may arise for which a fee is required, but ehich has not been established by thsi bylaw. On these occassions the CAO is authorized to establish an appropriate fee.
Select items from the Mountain View County fee schedule:
New Culverts & Couplers:
- Charge is updated as costs change, calculated using inventory valuation plus 5% and rounded 5% mark-up- up to nearest $1. (Maximum - material needed for one approach per property)
Used Culverts:
- 50% of the listed price for the usable portion 50% of marked-up value
Gravel Sales:
- Crushed gravel (100 yd maximum) yd $8.50
- Screenings (450 yd maximum) yd $2.50
- Pitrun (300 yd maximum) yd $3.50
- Recycled asphalt yd $4.00
- Salt/Sand Material yd. $25.00
Equipment Rental:
Snow Plowing: (Minimum 1/2 hour)
- Grader hr. $110.00
- Snow Plow Trucks hr $100.00
Agriculture:
Cattle Scale- Rental daily 40.00
- Refundable deposit $150.00
- Cleaning fee (if cleaned by County) $50.00
Other:
- Tree Planter (with 2 operators) hr. $65.00
- Tree Planter (no operators) daily $100.00
- Road Allowance Lease acre $25.00
