Dust Control

Don't get left in the dust...

Once again this spring, Mountain View County's Operational Services Department will be offering the 2012 Dust Control Program for residents interested in the service.

The program provides landowners with the opportunity to have dust control products applied to gravel roads in front of the residences. The program will commence after Road Bans have been removed later this spring, but the deadline for applying for Dust Control products is Friday, May 18 at noon.

Application forms are available at the County office, located at 1408 Twp Rd 320 (next to the Olds-Didsbury Airport) and can also be found by clicking on this link, or by contacting the Operational Services Department at 403-335-3311.

The fee for dust control material will be $524 (plus GST) for a distance of 200 metres. Any product for additional areas beyond 200 metres will cost $2.62 per metre (plus GST).

Completed applications can be dropped off, scanned and emailed to mvadmin@mountainviewcounty.com or faxed to 403-335-9207.
