I was born in 1961 and grew up in Mountain View County on the land my grandfather homesteaded in 1903. After attending school in Carstairs and in Salem, Oregon for two years, I returned home to work at the Carstairs Home Oil gas plant, where I was a Power Engineer/Operator for 23 years.

In 1984 I started farming and starting in the '90s I employed 15-18 people every summer. In 2006 I transitioned into grain farming on 1300 acres and I do custom haying as well.

Eight years ago I married my lovely wife Marge and we have two wonderful boys aged 5 and 7

Having travelled to 47 states and 29 countries, I am proud to call Mountain View County and Carstairs my home.

As your Division One Councillor I will:
- Re--establish voter representation.
- Form minimal government, directed by the people with minimal control.
- Return focus to core services. (e.g. roads and infrastructure)
- Re-establish RURAL common sense.
